November 2023 Board Meeting

We have a few important dates coming up.

    Sudshack Raffle Tickets are due tomorrow evening at practice (11/14).  
    Final payments are also due tomorrow evening (11/14).
    Window Decals are due tomorrow (11/14) as well.  The form is attached to this email.  
    There will be NO PRACTICE next week (11/21 and 11/23)

    Christmas Parade is on 11/25.  
        We are putting together a float so we will be meeting in the parking lot of Westminster Presbyterian Church at 2pm.  
        The parade starts at 5:30.  We will need parents to pick up their kids at the end of the parade route which is at the Post Office.
        We are requesting all players, coaches, and board members attend if possible.  
        Elementary will be riding on the float.
        All other players will be walking and handing out bracelets to help advertise our organization.  
        We would like all players to wear their Blue Jerseys.  Board and Coaches are asked to wear Butler Inline Spiritwear.
        We are asking players to bring their roller blades (we will not be wearing them) so they can tie the laces and carry them on their shoulders.  We want to promote the fact that we are Inline hockey and not ice.
    We will be having a party at Grove City on December 7th.  
        All players should plan to arrive at 6:30.  We will be sending out a schedule of events soon.  Pizza will be provided, We will have a time for a family skate, a skills competition, scrimmages, and a VERY SPECIAL PRESENTATION (Santa might come early 😉)
    Our last practice of 2023 will be December 14th.  We will start back up again on January 2nd, 2024!

A special thank you to Kevin Cloutier for his help with transitioning our website from SportsEngine to HockeyShift.  This change will be taking place within the next couple of weeks.  You will still be able to access our website at www.butlerinlinehockey.com.  Once the change is complete, you will notice a very different design and the best part is that it will be linked to the PIRHL site so stats will be updated on our site when they are updated on theirs.  We are looking forward to having an updated site.

We would also like to congratulate our Elementary team on making it to the Championship Series.  It will be played this Saturday at Bridgeville RollerPlex.  Game 1 is at 10am, game 2 is at noon, and game 3 (if needed) is at 2pm.  If you are close by, stop down and cheer them on!!!
